This policy explains how Observer Draw handles personal information when people use our software, creators run giveaways, and entrants participate in them.

Who this policy covers

Observer Draw provides giveaway-management software to creators and businesses. This policy applies to visitors to our sites, account holders, and people who enter a giveaway hosted through Observer Draw.

For creator account, subscription, and platform-security information, Observer Draw determines how the information is used. For giveaway entry information, the creator or business running the giveaway generally determines the giveaway's rules and purposes. That organizer is responsible for its giveaway rules and privacy disclosures.

Information we collect

• Account and contact information: name, email address, profile information, sign-in details, and support communications.
• Giveaway entry information: display name, email address, eligibility responses, terms acceptance, referral information, custom entry-form responses, action claims, and information or links submitted to complete an entry method.
• Connected-account information: account identifiers, display names, handles, and profile information provided by a connected sign-in or social platform, where a person chooses to connect one.
• Technical and usage information: session and cookie data, browser or user-agent identifiers, timestamps, request information, and approximate location information provided by our infrastructure, such as country, region, or city.
• IP-derived fraud identifiers: when a person visits or participates in a giveaway, we create and store a hashed IP fingerprint to help identify repeated activity from the same network address. The Observer Draw application database does not store raw IP addresses for this purpose.
• Billing information: subscription and transaction status for creator accounts. Payments are processed by Stripe; Observer Draw does not receive or store full payment-card numbers.

How we use information

We use information to provide and improve the service, create and manage accounts, host giveaways, record and verify entries, contact winners where the organizer chooses to do so, provide support, process subscriptions, enforce our terms, protect our systems, and comply with legal obligations.

We use IP fingerprints and related technical information to prevent fraud, rate-limit abuse, investigate duplicate or suspicious activity, protect giveaway integrity, and enforce security controls. A matching fingerprint is a fraud signal, not proof that two entries belong to the same person.

How information is shared

We share giveaway information with the creator or business running the giveaway so it can administer the promotion, verify entries, select and contact winners, respond to entrant requests, and investigate fraud or abuse. Depending on the giveaway, this may include entry details, contact information, connected-account details, and IP fingerprints.

Creator exports can include IP fingerprints for entrants in that creator's own giveaways. These fingerprints are not raw IP addresses. Creators must use entrant information only for administering their giveaways, fraud prevention, legal compliance, and other purposes permitted by applicable law and their own privacy notice.

We may also share information with service providers that help us operate the service, including cloud hosting and security providers, authentication providers, and Stripe for creator subscription billing. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, to investigate abuse, or as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.

Cookies and similar technologies

We use necessary cookies and similar technologies to keep people signed in, remember session preferences, protect the service, and measure service activity. You can control cookies through your browser settings, but disabling necessary cookies may prevent parts of the service from working.

Retention

We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the service, administer an active account or giveaway, resolve disputes, maintain security and fraud-prevention records, meet legal obligations, and enforce our agreements. We delete, anonymize, or limit use of information when it is no longer needed for those purposes, subject to legal, security, and operational requirements.

Your privacy choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, restriction of, or portability of your personal information, or to object to certain processing. You may also have the right to complain to a privacy regulator. These rights are not absolute, and we may need to retain limited information for security, fraud prevention, legal obligations, or legitimate recordkeeping.

Entrants should contact the giveaway organizer first for requests relating to that organizer's giveaway. You can also contact Observer Draw for account or platform-related privacy requests using the details below.

International processing

Observer Draw and its service providers may process information in countries other than where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers of personal information.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. No internet service or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure, so please use strong account credentials and contact us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

Children

Observer Draw is not directed to children who are not legally permitted to participate in a giveaway. Organizers are responsible for configuring and enforcing any age or eligibility requirements that apply to their giveaways.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our practices, services, or legal obligations change. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the date above.
